What is an Idol Festival?

An Idol Festival (aka Idol Fest) is a concert-style showcase to spotlight the fantastic world of Japanese music, mesmerizing dance groups, dazzling costumes, and so much more! On our stage, you will see your favorite 2D Idols come to life with their amazing performances! Grab your penlights and don’t miss out on Planet Anime KC’s very own Idol Festival!

This year’s Idol Fest is themed ‘Enchanted Encore’. Bring your light sticks and check out some magical idol performances! Here is a schedule of the Idols activities this year! On Sunday, October 20th

12pm-2pm Planet Anime Kansas City Idol Fest: “Enchanted Encore” will take place in Room 1501b on the Idol Stage!

2pm-3pm: The Idol Meet and Greet – This is your best chance to come meet and talk with the Idols after their performances.

3pm – 4pm Idols Random Dance Play – come join in on the fun of dancing to your favorite Idol songs!

This event is presented by KC Idol*Festival, a local group dedicated to creating an inclusive stage for idols, by idols.
