What is an Idol Festival? An Idol Festival (aka Idol Fest) is a concert-style showcase to spotlight the fantastic world of Japanese music, mesmerizing dance groups, dazzling costumes, and so much more! On our stage, you will see your favorite 2D Idols come to life with their amazing performances! Grab your penlights and don’t miss out on these wonderful performances!

Calling ALL IDOLS! You can apply to be one of our premiere performers at our event! Idol groups, solo, original, cosplay, experienced, and new idols are ALL welcome to apply! From now until May 8th, you can apply to be a part of this year’s show! Setlists will be a max of 10 minutes for each submission.

If accepted, all performers will receive a free weekend pass, courtesy of Planet Anime Kansas City!
