Leeanne M. Krecic, better known as MONGIE, is the Eisner-nominated and Ringo Award-winning creator of Let’s Play, a hit webcomic about video games, social anxiety, and slow-burn romance. With over 7 million readers worldwide, Let’s Play has been translated into multiple languages, adapted into print through record-breaking Kickstarter campaigns with Rocketship Entertainment, and is currently in production as an anime by OLM (the studio behind Pokémon and Komi Can’t Communicate).

MONGIE also co-created EVERDATE, a dating sim inspired by Let’s Play, and continues to write, illustrate, and wrangle a small creative empire powered by stubborn optimism and an overactive imagination. Her work champions emotional honesty, strong female leads, and fictional men you wish were real.
